Food Trucks will be available for lunch and snacks from 11am to 2pm on site.

Vendors will be available to the public from 9am to 1pm in Hall A (Stage side of hall)

No cost services will be available to the public from 9am to 2pm in Hall B (Kitchen side of hall) which will include:
- Lab tests including lipids and A1c, Blood pressures, foot exams.
- Ask the expert Pharmacist, Stress management/counselor.
- Flu vaccines.

Meadowlark Room will be focused on Healthy Eating with three cooking demonstrations and Ask the Dietitian session.

Sunflower Room focused on Diabetes Support and Education:
- Ask the Diabetes Educator
- The Eyes Have It
- Physical Activity Options
- Know Your Resources Panel

The Main Stage will have two main events:

Mayor Longwell who will  assist with honoring those who live with Diabetes at 10:30 am with opening remarks and special recognition of those who have lived with diabetes more than 10 years.

Vendors will be asked to take a 20 minute break during this activity.

Debbie Hinnen, APRN, CDE will present from 1 to 2 PM on “What’s New, What to Do.” 

Debbie is well known in Wichita having served as diabetes educator and leader in the community for over 35  years is also known  around the world as an international diabetes expert. She is pastPresident of the American Association Diabetes Educators and an American Diabetes Association Outstanding Educator. She has numerous credentials and awards and now works for the University of Colorado as a diabetes clinician and educator in Colorado Springs.
